Improving surgery access: Think Healthcare on Radio 4

Improving surgery access: Think Healthcare on Radio 4

Our newest member of the Think Healthcare team, Dave Mills, has recently been on Radio 4’s The Bottom Line with Evan Davis from Dragon’s Den. They discussed the use of advanced cloud telephony, and how it can be utilized to improve patient access to GP surgeries.

Dave is an NHS specialist who has joined us from the primary care health tech sector. He has been working within the NHS for almost two decades, including a large spell in GP surgery practice management.

On the show entitled ‘All our agents are currently busy’, Dave and the other guests discuss modern approaches businesses take to enabling customer access to their services.

Given the Covid pandemic and increased requirements for the 70 million patients in the UK to contact the NHS, the Think Healthcare platform from EVAD was a particularly topical addition to the conversation.

Think Healthcare is designed to help NHS services, such as GP surgeries, PCN’s, & larger organisations to manage their phone contacts in a more patient friendly and efficient manner. The primary goal to help alleviate the age old problem of extensive queues on the phone first thing in the morning to access NHS services.
